Neural Technologies wins third consecutive award in Outstanding Innovation at TM Forum Digital Transformation World

-

The award win arises as the company strengthens its position in the market with the appointment of a new CTO

SINGAPORE, 23 MAY 2019 – Neural Technologies, a leading provider of digital transformation solutions, has been presented with the Outstanding Catalyst Innovation Award at the TM Forum Catalyst Awards 2019. The announcement comes as the company enhances its digital transformation technologies with the appointment of Martin Laesch as its new Chief Technical Officer.

The prestigious award, given to Neural Technologies, during TM Forum Digital Transformation World 2019 in Nice, recognises the company’s commitment to stay at the forefront of innovation and provide world-class digital transformation solutions. Using an AI Data Model to develop Digital Twins technology, Neural Technologies’ solution enables operators to make highly informed business decisions, speed up product development cycles, save time and money, and create new business models based on intelligent outcomes.

Claus Nielsen, VP of Marketing, who was directly involved in the catalyst project said: “By 2025 digital service providers should already be leveraging 5G networks to offer new types of services to various customer segments. The challenges of this endeavour will lie in the ability to scale telco platforms, automate lifecycle management of network slices and incorporate predictive demand and maintenance, all while ensuring operational efficiency and behind the scenes workforce supporting the platform are optimised.”

Nielsen added: “The Digital Twins Catalyst served as a virtual representation of a real-world entity or system which acts as a mirror to provide a means to simulate, predict and forecast behaviour in the virtual world with the possibility of controlling the real-world entity where applicable. The catalyst applied use cases of Digital Twins to networks, people, organizations and processes to determine their effectiveness in being applied to the telecoms industry to address the above 2025 challenges. The results proved that Digital Twins indeed work for the telecommunications space.”

The third consecutive win for Neural Technologies reinforces the strides that the company’s digital transformation solutions are making in the industry and proves that the Optimus product is providing new value, power and results to telecoms providers. Previously, Neural Technologies received a Certificate of Recognition at Globe Telecom’s Annual Information Systems Group Awards for its exceptional support in Globe Telecom’s Open APIs for the Vibrant IoT Ecosystem (OAsIS) TM Forum LIVE! Asia Catalyst Project – the catalyst that won the Outstanding Innovation award for Digital Transformation Asia 2017. The company also received another TM Forum Outstanding Innovation Award for its participation in the 5G Pâtisserie Catalyst project – the search of a secret recipe for seamless 5G network slicing catalyst project.

Following the success of the Digital Twins Catalyst Project, Neural Technologies is continuing its leading technological advancements across the Optimus Ecosystem with the promotion of Martin Laesch as Chief Technical Officer. Drawing on years of experience and knowledge, the new position will contribute to developing the award-winning technology to enhance the Optimus Ecosystem with new solutions for advanced digital transformation and revenue management across the globe.

“We are honoured to be recognised for outstanding innovation for the third time by TM Forum. Our collaboration in the TM Forum Digital Twins Catalyst project shows that we are a vendor that is both engaged with the industry and passionate about contributing to it,” said Martin Laesch, Chief Technical Officer. “We are grateful for the opportunity to be involved with the TM Forum Catalyst project. It is a very rewarding experience to collaborate with the industry and bring the power of the Optimus product to a collaborative level for it to reach new heights of potential as we continue to grow.”

Martin joined Neural Technologies in 2015 as Senior Vice President of Professional Services and has more than 20 years of experience in telecommunications services and the software industry. His experience gives him the knowledge and expertise to develop the global strategy and extend the Optimus Ecosystem by utilising various state of the art technical enhancements. This will include the extended use of the Analytical Data Model contributed to the TM Forum in the development of its AI Data Model, which will continue the industry advancement in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, as well as enhancements in the areas of Big Data, IoT and Analytics.

The new extended use of the Analytical Data Model, will enable Optimus to integrate high volumes of Event Data and gain customer insights through enhanced analytics for businesses to improve their efficiency, decision making and create new business opportunities.
